The Department for Education has approved Worcestershire’s SEND Reform Plan, the county council announced on 6 October 2026.

The plan covers the next three years and brings together the local authority, health services, education settings and groups representing children, young people and parent carers.

The council says approval recognises progress already made, while emphasising that further improvements to support and families’ experiences remain necessary.
