Worcester councils launch search for Shrub Hill regeneration partner

A development partner is being sought for the long-term transformation of the 35-acre Shrub Hill Quarter beside Worcester Shrub Hill station.

Worcestershire County Council and Worcester City Council have begun a search for a development partner to help deliver the next phase of the Shrub Hill Quarter regeneration.

The approximately 35-acre site sits beside Worcester Shrub Hill station. The councils say the long-term plan could support more than 500 homes, new employment space and public areas while improving links between the station and Worcester city centre.

The project is intended to be delivered in phases, following earlier remediation, demolition, public-realm and active-travel work across the area.
