A Regency-themed charity ball at George Watson Hall will raise money for two local causes this December.
Tewkesbury Borough's Mayor is inviting residents to a Grand Regency Charity Ball at George Watson Hall on Sunday 6 December.
The event is scheduled to run from 6pm to 10pm and will include live music, Regency-style dancing and a performance from the Georgettes of Oxford. Daytime dance workshops are also planned for guests who want to learn the style before the evening event.
Proceeds will support the Mayor's chosen charities, Let's Talk Well and the Gloucestershire Federation of Young Farmers' Clubs. Local businesses are also being invited to donate raffle prizes.
Tickets are being advertised at £45 each through the borough council. The event is open to residents as well as civic and community guests.
