John Kyrle High School and Sixth Form Centre in Ross-on-Wye has won the national School Partnership category at the 2026 Holiday Activities and Food Programme Awards.

The school had already been named a regional winner before receiving the national award at a Department for Education ceremony in Westminster on 30 September.

Herefordshire Council says John Kyrle is one of around 40 local providers involved in its holiday programme, which offers eligible children activities, meals and opportunities to develop skills during school breaks.
