Gloucestershire SEND improvement plan gets government approval
The county’s SEND Reform Implementation Plan has been approved as part of the national reform programme.
Gloucestershire’s plan for improving support for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities has been approved by the Government.
The SEND Reform Implementation Plan was developed by Gloucestershire County Council with NHS Gloucestershire, education partners and the Parent Carer Forum. It sets out work intended to strengthen inclusion and help children receive appropriate support earlier.
Approval of the plan is also linked to access to the Government’s High Needs Stability Grant under the national SEND Reform Programme.
