Construction has reached a visible milestone at Glebelands in Cam, where 23 energy-efficient affordable homes are being built.
The first roofs are now in place at the Glebelands housing development in Cam, according to Stroud District Council.
The project is delivering 23 energy-efficient homes for affordable rent and shared ownership on a brownfield site that previously contained a sheltered housing scheme which had reached the end of its life.
The council says the development includes homes designed for older residents and forms part of its wider affordable housing programme across the district.
The latest construction milestone gives residents a clearer view of the scheme taking shape. The council has presented Glebelands as part of its effort to provide modern, lower-energy homes while making use of previously developed land.
